Bowman Island Charters Policies
DEPOSIT AND CANCELLATION POLICY:
Deposit: 50% of the package cost within 15 days of booking.
Balance in full is due April 1st. No refunds, however other booking arrangements can be made.
Bookings can be carried forward one year. Payment to confirm booking can be made by cheque or money order.
TAXES:
Provincial Sales Tax and or Goods and Services Tax may apply.
PST = 8%
GST = 5%
CROSSING THE BORDER:
U.S. visitors require proof of citizenship: birth certificate driver’s license or passport. You must have proof of citizenship and photo ID, but we strongly recommend a valid passport. When entering Canada, you are allowed to bring a 40 oz. Bottle of liquor or a case of beer, plus one carton of cigarettes, per person.
Passports are required if flying in.
ALCOHOL:
The legal age to consume alcohol in Ontario is 19. Please note *any alcohol beverages are illegal on the lake. Those who take alcohol in their boats risk being fined by the Provincial Police. Guests are responsible for their own fines.
FISHING LICENCES:
To fish in Ontario, you must possess a valid fishing license. We do not issue licenses.
Licenses have to be purchased before departing. It is important to carry your license with you at all times when fishing. Anyone who isn’t an Ontario or Canadian resident is considered a non-resident. Non-residents under the age of 18 years of age may fish without a license if accompanied by a licensed adult. Any fish caught will legally be part of the catch-and-possession limit of the person who holds the license.
YOUTH AND CHILDREN:
Children and youth are welcome, there is a variety of activities available for children of all ages. |
