 Fishing

All fishing is done on light tackle from small boats, in the protection of the surrounding islands. Lake Superior offers excellent fishing for Lake Trout, Northern Pike, Salmon and Speckled Trout. The season will dictate the species most often caught. We promote catch and release to protect and improve the fishery. Any fish that you decide to keep will be processed to eat as lunch or take home. All meals are supplied as part of the package. We will also provide a meal with your catch if desired. 

BOATS: We supply 14 and 16-foot boats for each 2 fisherman. The boats are equipped with motors, seats, nets, safety gear and PFD’s (Personal Flotation Device). 

WEARING OF PFD’S IS MANDATORY 

FISHING RATES:

COST: 

• $150.00 per day per person 
• Daily rates based on minimum party of (6) (max. 10) and double occupancy. 
• Smaller parties can be amalgamated with another party. 
• Length of stays normally 3 or more days. 
• All funds in Canadian dollars and gst and pst apply. 
• All meals supplied and served at lodge. 

EQUIPMENT SUPPLIED AT LODGE ARE: 

• 14 or 16 foot boots c/w motors, seat cushions and oars, nets, PFD's
• Ice for fish and beverages 

DEPARTURE AND RETURN TIMES: 

DEPART NIPIGON 7-10 AM or 6-8 PM DEPART BOWMAN 9-11 AM or 4-6 PM
